“Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.”
― L.M. Montgomery
Collecting history and memory from the minds of local library-users is a lot like watering a tree and watching it grow. Like the layers of rings added each year, layers of story have been added to the Dear Library page, each unique in experience. And the winner is...
Jadey's story is our first Nook winner for Dear Library.
Jadey says what surprises her about the library is how welcoming and open it is, especially with children's programming. "The library tries hard to be a community center. Being a teacher, the children's librarian came to my school. If the people can't get to the library, the librarians go to the people."
Keep submitting! The next Nook winner will be picked in August.
